Custom features

Here are some custom features that are not part of the vanilla Minecraft experience, but are available on the Acacia server.

Utility commands

  • /ping sees your exponential moving average ping to the server.
  • /rules shows the server rules.
  • /track [<player>] allows you to see the distance to a different player. This consumes 1 compass per use.
  • /timeplayed [<player>] shows the time played on the server. If no player is specified, it shows your own time played.
  • /suppressannouncements allows you to suppress the server announcements for 24 hours.

Sakura Vault

The Sakura Vault is a special vault that allows players to store their items in a secure location. The vault is located in the Sakura Valley area, which is accessible by walking and through a station from Hell's Paradise.

Expired/unclaimed vaults may be rent at a rate of 1 emerald per real life day. Renting the vault gives you permissions to break and place blocks within the vault being rented.

If a vault expires, you are still able to access the vault, however if anyone claims it, you will lose access to the vault and all items within it.

Decorative / cosmetic

Armor statues

The armor statues datapack allows players to create armor stands that can be used to display armor and other items. The armor stands can be customized with different poses and can be used to create unique displays.

To obtain an armor statue book, you may run /trigger as_help for instructions on how to obtain one.

Silence mobs

The silence mobs datapack allows players to silence mobs that are making noise. This is useful for reducing the amount of noise in the game and for creating a more peaceful environment. This requires a name tag named Silence Me applied to the mob.

XP Bottling

The XP Bottling datapack allows players to bottle their experience points into glass bottles. This is useful for storing experience points for later use or for trading with other players.

Right click an enchanting table with an empty glass bottle to bottle your experience points. You can then smelt the bottled experience points in a furnace to obtain your XP back.
